Community Guidelines
Community should help people learn. Publish accurate, useful material and treat other students’ work responsibly.
Effective October 24, 2026
Share material you may legally publish
Publish original material, content you have permission to share, or content with a license that permits redistribution. Give required attribution and preserve applicable license notices. Do not upload copied textbooks, paid question banks, answer keys, private class materials, or other protected works without authorization.
Protect privacy
Do not publish private or identifying information about another person, including addresses, contact details, school records, credentials, financial information, or intimate images. Do not impersonate people or organizations. Remove unnecessary personal information and image metadata before publishing.
Keep it safe and appropriate
Do not publish sexual exploitation, graphic sexual material, targeted harassment, credible threats, instructions facilitating serious wrongdoing, illegal marketplaces, malicious software, or content promoting self-harm. Educational discussion of sensitive subjects must be clearly contextualized and must not facilitate harm.
Be honest and useful
Do not intentionally publish dangerous misinformation, fabricated citations, deceptive answer keys, spam, or unrelated promotional content. Do not manipulate saves or ratings, coordinate false reports, or repeatedly republish removed material.
Academic integrity
Study tools should support learning rather than impersonation or cheating. Do not use Community to distribute answers to an active examination, obtain unauthorized access to assessments, or submit another person’s work as your own.
Reports and enforcement
Use reporting only for genuine safety, copyright, privacy, spam, or accuracy concerns. Content may be hidden or removed after reports or automated review. Accounts may be limited for serious or repeated violations. Context, severity, history, and the risk of harm may affect enforcement.
Appeals
If your publication was removed and you believe the decision was mistaken, email support@yourstudybuddy.net with your username, the item title, and a short explanation. Do not include sensitive personal documents unless requested through a secure process.
